I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I had a very nice day. To start my daughter made us a yummy breakfast, which is so nice because I am usually the only one that cooks. My husband and I worked in the garden in the morning.....it was so nice out. We had to put a fence around the garden because our little puppy Lexi has discovered it and she loves to dig. The middle of the day was the usual Sunday stuff.....laundry, dishes and house stuff. Later in the day we had our favorite Chinese food delivered....we don't go out much on holidays because it is so crowded everywhere. I just wanted to share the card my daughter made me because it is so pretty. She used a heart shaped box and inside was the message. She knows just what I like.
Mother's Day flowers.....my favorite color !

ReplyDeleteLexi is simply adorable - I love puppies that look like butter wouldn't melt in their mouths, when we all know the trouble they can get themselves into!

Those roses are so pretty and the heart box is wonderful. I had to enlarge to look at every detail. Daughter did a great job. Even the black and white pok-a-dot ribbon. And Lexi dressed up for you too.

Your daughter has inherited your creative ability! We don't go out usually on holidays either - we usually pick another day during the same week. Anyway, I love being home.
