My Little Dolls

These are my dolls from my childhood. I can't believe I still have them. I just turned 50 years old this month so these girls are pretty old.
This is a little dressing table from my childhood also. It had a mirror on it that I must have broken off because it has been this way for a long time.
These are my new dolls. They are Barbie Peek-A-Boo Petites. They remind me so much of my old dolls that I had to have them. They come in cute little cases as you can see in the pictures below. Some of your daughters probably have them. I know I am too old for dolls but they are so cute. I just keep them in a little suitcase in my room and take them out every once in a while to look at them or add a new one.

Your little dolls from childhood are so cute. Do you have any idea what company manufactured them, or what they were called years ago? They don't look at all familiar, and I'm only 5 years younger than yourself. Happy belated birthday!
And I really like the new small Chinese doll...she is adorable.

I'm glad to see there's someone besides me who kept childhood dolls. The two tiny ones look like they might be Kiddie Cologne Dolls. Hey, don't fret about buying yourself a doll~I still buy them for myself if I find one that appeals to me~actually my son bought the last two because he thought I would like them.

Just had to check out your blog. I love the name you chose... beautiful! I still have some of my old Dawn dolls, remember those? I really hate to throw anything out, so I so get this. Love the new dolls too!
Happy day!

Don't you think as we get older, and our children get older, our tendency is to go back to the comforting things of childhood? I have noticed lately that my mind wanders back to childhood games and especially fun times with friends when I am stressed... more so with mentalpause!! Anyway, I love your dolls and the fact that you were able to keep them for now!
God bless you!

Hi there.
Thanks so much for looking at my Blog and following it. I just started Blogging in December and I was apprehensive, too, but it gets easier. I have my dolls from my childhood, too ~ it is such fun to look at our joys from the past.
I wish you good things and much fun with your Blog!

Thank you for visiting my bloggy! Double thank you for following my bloggy!

I adore your blog! Love, love, love the little dolls! And that furniture! How darn cute is that?

I think the little peek-a-boo Barbies are the sweetest! I am making using them for Easter egg fillers for my daughter this year. (That way I can play with them too!)

Also, the Valentine birthday crown is wonderful!

I love seeing your dolls!
I have some of these from my childhood as well (I am soon to be 43)These were called "kiddles" by Mattel then or "liddle kiddles", and I have some that are in little soda pop bottles, in a lollipop, and in a locket. So much fun!

Hello! I found your blog from Flickr and the Easter decorations Pool. What fun it was to come to your blog and see this post ~ I still have my Little Kiddle dolls! AND... I have the same dresser along with some other pieces. We must be kindred spirits :)

I had some of those dolls too. I loved how tiny they are. sadly I only have one doll I kept from my childhood (Dawn). This past Christmas my husband and children surprised me with a Kiddle doll that I wanted badly when I was six. They felt so bad that I never had it so they searched online until they found the exact one. It is proudly desplayed next to Dawn in my art studio. It just goes to show that we all still have our "inner-child" alive and well!

Hello,
Happy Belated Birthday! Hope you bought yourself a doll! You are never too old to enjoy your dolls, I am 54 I still collect for myself & my granddaughter-love it! I still have my kiddles, barbies & even my baby dolls from my childhood-I am so
fortunate as I have read a lot of people wished they still had theirs.
